SavedIn

Privacy policy

Effective 19 October 2026. This page describes what SavedIn does with information on your computer and with Google.

Who we are

SavedIn is a Chrome extension published by Mansi Dwivedi. Contact: dwivedimav@gmail.com. SavedIn does not operate a user account or a server that stores your library.

What stays in this browser

SavedIn stores the following in this browser, in IndexedDB and extension storage:

Removing the extension, or clearing this browser’s extension data, removes that copy. Download Excel writes a spreadsheet to this computer. That file is not uploaded by SavedIn.

Google user data

When you choose Add to calendar, Google asks you to sign in and to allow the Calendar permission https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events. SavedIn uses that permission only to create, update, or delete an event on the primary calendar of the Google account you approve.

SavedIn does not sell Google user data, does not use it for advertising, and does not transfer it to others except as needed to talk to Google’s Calendar API for that event. The event title, time, description, and the LinkedIn link are sent to Google so the event can be saved. You can remove SavedIn’s access at Google Account permissions.

Groq

When you add a post to the calendar, SavedIn sends that post’s text, and the author’s name, to Groq at api.groq.com. Groq reads whether the post is a job, hackathon, competition, or something else, looks for a date, and suggests a short event title. SavedIn does not send your Google token or your whole library to Groq. Groq’s handling of that request is described in Groq’s privacy policy.

LinkedIn

SavedIn runs on linkedin.com while you are signed in there. It reads posts on the page in front of you so it can store them locally or add them to the calendar. It does not ask LinkedIn for a separate login, and it does not post to LinkedIn on your behalf.

This website

savedit.cyou is a static site about the extension. It does not ask you to sign in and it does not store your posts. The host may keep ordinary server logs, such as an IP address and the page requested, for a short time.

Children

SavedIn is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
